Introduction
Church Cottage is next to the green in Manaton. On entering the village from Bovey Tracey pass the Kestor Inn on your right. Keep going through the village until you get to a crossroads where you take the right hand turn past the car park and shortly after take the left hand lane along the left side of the green ignoring the wooden sign saying ‘no parking beyond this point'. Church Cottage is the first property you come to next to the lychgate of the church.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
Car parking for one car is available immediately adjacent to our wall near the lychgate approximately 15 metres from our front gate. Please bring a torch if arriving after dark! It is possible to drive to the front gate for drop off of passengers or unloading. Further parking is available approximately 100m back down the lane on the quiet lane itself or car park (voluntary donation for the church requested).
At the gate 1m wide opening inwards there is one step 13cms. 6m level paved path to front door with thatched porch opening inwards 85cms wide threshold 3cms high.
Public Transport
The nearest train stations are Exeter 12 miles and Newton Abbot 9 miles. Exeter airport is 24 miles. No buses in immediate vicinity but there are buses over the moor and to Bovey Tracey from Newton Abbot. Taxis in Bovey Tracey 5 miles 07739 508554 or 01626 833912.

Dogs
Two plastic dog beds provided, one for small/medium dog base measurement 36x55cms internally and one for larger dog 46x70cms, bring your own soft dog bedding. Two stainless steel feeding bowls and a water bowl provided with poop sacks for garden and/or green and cricket field.
Additional Information
An information folder is provided in the cottage with all instructions, emergency telephone numbers, appliance manuals and details of services. The cottage is no smoking. A children's playground is located on the far side of the cricket field behind the house and the village tennis court can be hired for a small fee by the hour. The Kestor Inn is open all day with a small shop for essentials and maps and also serves cream teas. There is a pitch and putt golf course in Bovey Tracey.
